The Jonas Brothers released a new song last weekend called “Cool“.
The song is a follow-up to their Sucker’ #1 hit Why such a fast new song?
Looks like Kevin, Nick and Joe sooner than later want a new #1.
But this time it will be rather difficult to prove that. Like its predecessor, “Cool” solidly tops the iTunes chart.
In fact, “Cool” is sitting at #5 on iTunes USA as of this post. Not a bad position, but when you’re looking to score a #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, it’s not where you want your song to be.
Jonas Brother can still say they’ve got a new hit.
Jonas Brothers premiered the official music video for “Cool” together with the song’s digital release over the weekend.
The “Cool” visual shot in Miami is a suave; acting like a fool, laidback under the sun. I can love the music video altogether, but the song?
To me, it’s pretty meh. I listened to it one time, I didn’t hate it , but I don’t want to give it a second go. Nothing is exciting about it. I had the same “Sucker” problem.
I still think it’s a dull song even if it’s been a big hit. Maybe it was a big hit just because of people’s “excitement” about a comeback from Jonas Brothers…
